Homeschool Extras
Here’s a value-packed video that answers tons of questions and has loads of how-to’s. This comes from my personal experience homeschooling, working from home, and having a mega-sized family. I recorded this video during the COVID-19 quarantine, but the info is still relevant!
Ready for Anything

A few years ago on Walk it Out, I chatted with my friend Kathi Lipp about her book Ready for Anything. This book is about preparing your heart and home for any crisis big or small. Maybe you have prepared for a crisis; maybe you wish you had prepared better.
Kathi and I talk about her wake-up call of NOT being prepared during their house fire. It was then that she realized how unprepared she’d been for crisis. And now it’s Kathi’s goal to help you deal with whatever crisis might come up in your life with confidence. I loved this chat because it helped me to see how unprepared I was for the crisis that was occurring in my own life.
You can listen on iTunes, your favorite podcast app, or HERE.
Focus on the Family
I was also interviewed a few years ago on Focus on the Family about homeschooling. They got so many questions that they put the episode up in two days!
I know so many homeschool families need encouragement right now. I pray that the words that I spoke will be a breath-of-hope and a shot-in-the-arm of inspiration.
Rebel Parenting

It’s a throwback for sure, but this interview about how to help angry kids might be just what you need right now.
Homeschooling with Faith & Purpose
Whether you’re homeschooling temporarily or in it for the long haul, remember: education isn’t just about academics—it’s about discipleship. You have the incredible opportunity to shape your child’s heart and mind for Christ.
Take it one day at a time. Lean on God’s grace. And don’t forget—you are equipped for this calling!
