God Has a Plan for You

If you trust God, you should not worry. We get anxious when we want something and it does not come as soon as we would like. Often we take matters in our hands and soon encounter disorder and chaos. Then we immediately start questioning God. Why me Lord?

We must wait on His guidance. If we do not wait on God, everything can become disastrous. He has plans for each of our lives. Sometimes God’s timing may seem delayed, but he is right on time and we must wait on Him.

Reasons to wait on God’s plan:
• God will keep his promises (II Peter 1:4)
• God said to wait (Psalm 27:14)
• God said he will bless those who wait on Him (Isaiah 30:18)

The Bible says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end,” (Jeremiah 29:11).

Will you trust God’s plan and wait?

Sumter Faith Clinic: The Lord Led Us

In October 2011, nurse practitioners Mary Wysochansky and Anna Stinchcum founded and opened the Sumter Faith Clinic — a free clinic to treat the uninsured and underinsured in Americus, Ga., a community Wysochansky says has been particularly hard-hit by the economy. Fueled solely by donations, the facility provides basic health care and spiritual support to Sumter County residents. "The spiritual benefits are wonderful," says patient Regina K. Benson. "They will pray with you. They treat you as a person rather than a number.

FIP - #14 Concluding Thoughts

We are not on this earth for the fulfillment of self. We are here to reveal the kingdom of God, the kingdom of heaven here on earth; to bear witness to the reality that because we also abide in the “secret place of the Most High” we can turn pain and suffering into happiness and joy.

Empty of self, empty of the world, we live lives of loving kindness and compassion. We are the leaven in the Bread of Life; earthen vessels, freely offered and poured out; emptied that others may have New Life.

“I have come that you may have life and have it more abundantly.” (Jn. 10:10)
