Michael Jr. Explains God in a Simple and Brilliant Way

Michael Jr. explained God in a simple and brilliant way. The popular funnyman gave a short, succinct answer when asked how to define and describe the Creator of the universe. Watch the short but insightful clip to hear how Michael explained God and the role he plays in our world and lives.

People will often be asked to share their testimonies, how the Lord saved them and completely turned their lives around. Quite frequently, those are powerful stories that perfectly illustrate God’s love, mercy, grace and forgiveness. Where would we be without His forgiveness and grace? Of course, that’s easy; we would still be lost, living in our sin and shame, without any kind of hope or future.

But what would you say if someone asked you to describe and define God? How would you explain Him to someone who wanted to know how you view the Lord of the heavens and the earth? That would be a nearly impossible task. Most people wouldn’t even know where to begin when attempting to answer such a question.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Michael mentioned that he was asked that exact question by a celebrity, someone everyone would immediately recognize. Instead of stuttering and fumbling around for an answer, Michael came up with an insightful way to explain God and how He operates in the world and in our lives.

“I was like, ‘God is like a navigation device when you’re in your car,’” he said. ‘Have you ever been in a car with a navigation device before? We can start there. Y’all been in a car before? We can start there. It’s like being a car with a navigation device. If it says, ‘Go 10 blocks and then turn left.’ Then you go 10 blocks and turn right. It doesn’t abandon what you’re supposed to do. It recalculates what you need to do to get to where you’re supposed to be based upon where you are.’”

He continued to expound on his example of God and a car’s navigation system.

“The only problem is if you keep making the wrong turns, the road conditions may be different, and you’re running out of time,” he added. “So, you have to be sensitive to listen to that voice. So, you can make the right choice about where you’re supposed to be.”

Psalm 32:8 “I will give you knowledge, teaching you the way to go; my eye will be your guide.”

Lecrae Compares the Church to Chipotle—and the Analogy Is Surprisingly Accurate

Lecrae compares the church to Chipotle, and the analogy is surprisingly accurate. The Christian rapper and singer-songwriter shared his unique perspective on the church, likening it to the popular fast-food chain Chipotle. Watch the short but hilarious and insightful clip to hear how Lecrae believes the church and Chipotle are alike in this particular way.

The church is a word and concept that is mentioned throughout the Bible. When many people hear the word “church,” they automatically think of a building with a sanctuary, pews, a stage, a congregation and a pulpit. Those are the images and the items most people associate with a church. And given how most people are raised, especially in the United States, that is correct, according to what most people are familiar with and know.

While no one will argue that a church typically comes equipped with pews, a sanctuary and a pulpit from which sermons are delivered, that isn’t entirely correct. Simply put, the church is the people who believe in God and profess to follow His Son, Jesus Christ. Now, since the church involves people, there can be many reasons why one group of believers may not work for you. But that is no reason to completely abandon the church as a whole.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Lecrae makes this exact point by drawing a comparison between the church and Chipotle. That may seem like an odd analogy, but it most certainly works.

“When people say, ‘Man, I don’t mess with the church, bro. I can’t do it. It’s fraud. It’s fake,’” he said. “And I say, ‘You don’t mess with the church. So, you been to every church?’”

Later in the clip, he points out that he loves Chipotle but doesn’t always love what they do, and that his experience isn't always the best at every location. However, that doesn’t keep him away from Chipotle, but just that specific location.

“But I never say, ‘I’m done with Chipotle,’” he said. “I just say, ‘I don’t go to this one.’ So, it’s kind of how I look at the church.”

Matthew 16:18 “And I say to you that you are Peter and, on this rock, will my church be based, and the doors of hell will not overcome it.”

Joy Comes In The Morning- How God Met Me On The Worst Day Of My Life

How did a seven-year-old know she was about to die? Before her death on Memorial Day weekend 1992, Lauren drew a dark figure — a demon — hovering over a tree. That same tree branch would take her life that day. She was 7 years old. That drawing is what you see in the thumbnail. It is real. It has never been altered. In this testimony, a mother shares every detail of that day — and how God met her in the worst moment of her life with His presence, His peace, and His sufficient grace. This is a story about being led by the Spirit, releasing grief, and finding real joy after devastating loss. "Everlasting joy shall be upon their heads. They shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away." — Isaiah 35:10 #JoyComesInTheMorning #ChristianTestimony #ChildLoss #GriefAndFaith #SufficientGrace #HealingTheBrokenhearted #SpiritualWarfare #BeingLedByTheSpirit #TrustingGod #FaithAfterLoss #LosingAChild #GodIsFaithful #HolySpirit #ChristianPodcast BOOKS & RESOURCES: Spiritual Warfare Blueprint for Your Family by Cyndi Foster — https://a.co/d/0dT5yyVa Joy Comes in the Morning by Cyndi Foster — https://a.co/d/06MJN6WE Need Ministry? Witchcraft Disguised as Prayer - Part 1

Don't forget to grab your free scripture journal at PrayingChristianWomen.com/journal today!

What happens when our desire for spiritual answers crosses the line into trying to control outcomes apart from God?

In this episode, Jaime and Alana dive into the fascinating—and somewhat controversial—topic of WITCHCRAFT within the church, specifically exploring how certain types of "prayer" might actually be rebellion in disguise. They discuss the critical difference between surrendering to God’s power and trying to manipulate our own destinies, the dangers of seeking hidden knowledge, and why praying to angels or treating manifestation as a spiritual shortcut crosses a firm scriptural boundary.

Alana highlights the historical weaponization of the word "witch" against spiritually independent women, sparking a deeper conversation about how the fear of overstepping can actually paralyze us and keep our prayers small.

Meanwhile, Jaime opens up about a time she unintentionally put a spiritual mentor on a pedestal, relying on her almost like a medium to hear from God, illustrating how easily our hearts can slip into unhealthy reliance even with the best intentions.

Along the way, they swap practical wisdom on navigating the gray areas of modern Christian culture. From the absurdity of spiritual charlatans who farm Facebook profiles for "prophetic words" to the harmless family tradition of reading restaurant fortune cookies, they offer a discerning yet grace-filled perspective on setting healthy boundaries without becoming paralyzed by fear or religious superstition.

Whether you are worried about overstepping in your prayer life, struggling with the urge to forcefully "manifest" your desires, or simply need a reminder that God wants you to pray boldly in His power rather than your own, we hope this episode encourages you to examine your heart, expect God's guidance, and confidently approach His throne of grace.
