Bear one another's burdens ... Weep with those that weep...
Weeping may last for the night but joy comes in the morning ... They were concepts that I had learned through hard experience. Now the drama unfolding before me was all so painfully familiar. A spouse diagnosed with cancer – and a less-than-hopeful prognosis. But what could I say or do to spare them the sorrow of my own experience? In the end I found myself resolving, with God's help, to share with them from my experience that all things do work together for good to those that love Him.

Sometimes when we examine ourselves, as the apostle Paul says we should do periodically, we can easily become discouraged – even despondent over what we see. Often it is with the aid of the critical eyes of society in general that we realize our appearance is so far from what it should be. In those moments it is good to remember that the skillful hands of a loving Creator are still at work – molding us, shaping us into the perfect image of what He has envisioned for our lives.

Story Behind the Song

I wrote it in response to where our country is and what we have come through with the elections.
We must be good stewards of our democracy and respectful of the right to vote and take part in our elections. However, we must also recognize that who it is that controls the affairs of men.

With that, I submit to the One who reigns no matter the political season or who it is that resides in the White House.

There is also something very powerful about a people who humbly submit to God. May God bless our country. May He respond with His loving hand upon this land. This people.

In the book of Nehemiah, the scattered and lost people of God return. They gather together, open His word, and seek His leading. With weeping they are reminded by Nehemiah, that the Joy of the Lord will be our strength. In Isaiah, we are told that the government will rest upon His shoulders—this mighty counselor, this mighty God, this Prince of Peace. 2 Chronicles tells us that if we—God’s people, will humble ourselves, pray, and seek His face, that He will hear from heaven and heal our land.

Praise His holy name, and let His glory reign.

Dedicated to all mother's who have lost a child. We speak about the afterlife of the deceased but never mention the afterlife of the mother. Hopefully this video will bring the deserved attention to the pain we suffer daily.

In the busyness of everyday life it often escapes our notice that we are all “called to the ministry” and have a duty to those around us in what may seem to be unglamorous activities at the best of times. This song helps us to keep those situations in perspective by reminding us that, ultimately, the object of our ministry is Jesus – and as we fulfill that calling, others will be blessed through us.
