Romans 14:1-6

Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. 2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. 3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. 4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. 5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. 6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

Romans 7:13-25

Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. 14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. 15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. 16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. 17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. 19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. 20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

Faith

Faith IS SCARY!

Healing Power of Light Pt 1 - Erwin Lutzer

God does heal! We all need spiritual healing, emotional and sometimes physical healing. God's truth of light is what heals our darkness.

Parable of the Budding Fig Tree

In this message we’re going to consider Jesus’ Parable of the Budding Fig Tree and see what it teaches us about the kingdom of God.

“Take a lesson from the fig tree. From the moment you notice its buds form, the merest hint of green, you know summer’s just around the corner. So it is with you: When you see all these things, you’ll know he’s at the door. Don’t take this lightly. I’m not just saying this for some future generation, but for all of you. This age continues until all these things take place. Sky and earth will wear out; my words won’t wear out.

“But the exact day and hour? No one knows that, not even
heaven’s angels, not even the Son. Only the Father knows.”
Jesus in , MSG

“In the New Testament the kingdom is affirmed to have come and
yet it lies in the future. It is just about to happen and still far off.
There are signs, but the timing of the fulfillment of the
kingdom is to us unknown and unknowable.”
Theologian Kenneth Bailey, Jesus through Middle Easter Eyes, P115

“The trees are coming into leaf
Like something almost being said…”
The Trees, Philip Larkin

Paul Washer - Glory of God in Moral Purity (Audio)

Is your purity glorifying God? Have you tried over and over to be pure and yet still fail? This message is for you! Paul Washer shares to a local body of men about the importance of living for and in Jesus. This isn't something new, but it does require obedience. We can not live half hearted lives for Jesus. He requires our all.

Gen 4
Cain slew Abel because he dehumanized his brother

Certain communities become outraged when murder occurs INTERracially, but does any one care when murder is INTRAracially?

God requires us to love all our brothers (and sisters) regardless of color, economic status, religion, or anything that would seek to divide us.

Your countenance can fall like Cain's if you are not willing do your best for God. If you only do enough to get by then you can't be mad at God for blessing your poor effort. You have to be diligent and obedient to God.

God loves you enough that even when you disobey and mess up, he will put his mark upon you so that no one else will bother or avenge for your sins.

Sin lieth at the door. When you don't obey God then sin will "bear hug" you as soon as you open the door.

When you obey and do you best for God sin is your door mat to be stepped on and over.
