Ruth said, "...your people will be my people and your God my God". It was through her because of her devotion to Naomi that she met Boaz. Boaz redeemed Ruth and provided her with a son, Obed. Through the Providence of God, the Messianic line continued. The lesson here is to always trust in the Lord, He always has a plan.
