After a literal fairytale engagement at Disney World, singer Colton Dixon tied the knot and married longtime girlfriend Annie Coggeshall over the weekend of January 8th, 2016. Colton had this to say on his social media:

“Married my best friend last night. I love you @anniecog What a great night with family and friends!”

Annie was also excited but took the opportunity to share her appreciation for the love fans have shown them:

“I'm marrying to him today. It has been a busy couple of weeks! There has been much to do but through all of it the love people have shown us is remarkable. We have the best people alongside us for the beginning of this new chapter.”

In attendance along with family and friends were fellow musicians TobyMac, Steven Curtis Chapman, Seth Morrison from Skillet and Michael Tait from Newsboys.

Colton sang “Can’t Help Falling In Love” (in honor of Elvis' birthday) to Annie during the wedding ceremony while Annie sang a song she wrote for her dad and Colton during the reception. "I'm overwhelmed," Dixon told PEOPLE just after the ceremony. "There's so much joy!" Colton's sister Schyler also performed, singing "How Great Thou Art," while their uncle played piano.

Making the evening even more magical, Chapman performed his song "Cinderella" during the bride's Father-Daughter dance.

The couple will be spending their honeymoon in Tahiti. Sounds like fun!

The proposal took place during Disney World’s “Night of Joy” concert celebration last fall, where the theme park gives a nod to Christians, and top Christian music artists come to give a cluster of concerts.

Annie Coggeshall is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, but now calls Los Angeles home. The couple has been dating for over 2 years.
