Leah Okamoto is an outstanding visual and performing arts teacher in Rocklin whose impact extends far beyond the classroom. For many years, she has gone beyond reading, writing, and arithmetic to bring California history, patriotism, the Gold Rush, and the state’s founding to life for her students. She now channels that same passion into theater, inspiring creativity, confidence, and teamwork. Leah is deeply respected and admired by parents, students, her fellow teachers and school administrators for her dedication and lasting impact on students. She is most deserving to be Teacher of the Month! Presented by South Sutter Charter!
