You’ll Love This Charming Rendition of ‘Singin’ in the Rain’

If you enjoy musicals and are a fan of the classics, then you’ll love this charming rendition of ‘Singin’ in the Rain!’

This video will have you dancing and singing as the incredible vocalist showcases her skills on camera. You see a cozy and dimly lit room with a fireplace, and the Young Original Band gathered together. The leader of the band counts them down. The group of four all immediately comes in strong.

The voice of this young woman is unique and beautiful; you will want to continue to listen to what she is able to sing. There is such depth and dynamics in the piano. He will wow you! The guitarist and the cellist are clearly having a good time and are also gifted.

After the singer finishes the chorus, the piano takes it up a notch on the instrumental, and there is a highlighted cello solo. Finally, the lead vocalist returns, but this time the other bandmates add some unexpected harmonies. It is fabulous what these young people have accomplished. They are talented way beyond their years.

The chorus says:

I'm singing in the rain, just singin' in the rain
What a glorious feeling, I'm happy again

“Singin’ In the Rain” is a feel good song. Everyone who hears this song cannot help but perk up! Take a moment to listen to this jazzy and modern rendition of this timeless classic from a favorite musical. You will not regret it. Young Original Band is absolutely living up to their name in this video.

The Bible teaches us to have joy in our hearts through the work of the Holy Spirit. As you listen to this music, ponder the blessing of Jesus and how He can make the rainiest days sunny in our hearts.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” Romans 15:13

Middle Aged Dad Jam Band Blends ‘Turn the Beat Around’ with ‘Rock the Casbah’

You’ll want to watch this as the Middle Aged Dad Jam Band blends ‘Turn the Beat Around’ with ‘Rock the Casbah.’ There was a time when music wasn’t something we fit into the margins of our lives — it was our life.

It was the soundtrack of car rides with the windows down, of bedrooms with posters on the walls, of late nights with friends where nobody checked the clock because nobody had anywhere they had to be in the morning. Music was loud and unapologetic and woven into who we were becoming.

We didn’t listen to songs back then. We lived inside them. We knew every word. Every drum beat. Every dramatic pause before the chorus dropped. We sang like nobody was listening because nobody important was.

And then… well. We grew up.

We got jobs and kids and meetings and laundry and back pain and grocery lists and calendars that beep when it’s time to switch the laundry over. Somewhere between paying bills and refilling prescriptions, we forgot what it felt like to just be a person with a favorite song again.

Not a mom. Not a dad. Not a manager or a chauffeur or a responsible adult. Just a person who really, really loved that one song. Which is why the Middle Aged Dad Jam Band feels like such a gift.

If you haven’t heard of them yet, their name alone already makes you smile. The Middle Aged Dad Jam Band — or MADJB for short — is exactly what it sounds like: a group of middle-aged guys who decided that growing older doesn’t mean growing quieter.

The band was started by Ken Marino and David Wain, along with a revolving cast of friends and guest musicians, and their entire mission is joy. They mash up iconic songs, blend genres that have no business being together, and sprinkle comedy between the music like confetti.

They’ll take “Turn the Beat Around” and slide it right into “Rock the Casbah,” and somehow it works in a living-room-dance-party way. In a “this feels ridiculous and wonderful and I love it” kind of way.

It’s part concert, part comedy show, part midlife permission slip. Permission to sing again. Permission to be goofy again. Permission to love the music you love without explaining it to anyone.

Maybe that’s the gift of the Middle Aged Dad Jam Band — not just the music, but the reminder. That joy still fits inside grown-up lives. That it’s okay to laugh loudly, sing badly, and love what you love. And that the best soundtrack might not be behind us after all.

“Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth.”  Psalm 96:1

Stunning Rendition of ‘9 to 5’ You’ll Want to Hear Again and Again

This stunning rendition of “9 to 5” is one that you’ll want to hear again and again. If Dolly Parton were to come across this cover performance of one of her most beloved and recognizable hits, she would most definitely approve. Watch the short but delightful clip to listen to this excellent cover of Dolly Parton’s classic “9 to 5.”

Hollywood is a fickle industry. What is popular right now will likely not be the thing everybody is talking about in five minutes from now. Not only that, but the tastes and preferences of the general public are constantly changing. In the entertainment industry, it’s either change and keep up or stay the same and be left behind and forgotten.

When it comes to a field that constantly demands the latest and greatest thing, achieving and then maintaining a long-lasting career is not the norm. When someone is able to do that, particularly in the entertainment world, that’s when you know they truly have talent and are not just a one-hit wonder.

Dolly Parton, a Hollywood legend and certainly not a one-hit wonder, has been wowing and entertaining audiences with her spectacular, unmistakable voice and roles in both film and television for decades. In a clip posted on YouTube, a group of musicians turned in a superb cover performance of one of Dolly’s most beloved tunes: “9 to 5.”

“Workin’ nine to five, what a way to make a livin’
Barely getting’ by, it’s all takin’ and no givin’
They just use your mind, and they never give you credit
It’s enough to drive you crazy if you let it”

Even if you’re a diehard Dolly Parton fan and believe that none of her songs should ever be covered, it’s hard to find something negative about this performance. It’s one that will have you singing along and tapping your toe within the first couple of notes.

This Charming Ukulele Cover of a Beach Boys Song Will Make You Smile

Check out this charming ukulele cover of the Beach Boys’ song ‘Kokomo.’ The musicians in the video are known as the Solera Ukulele Players, also known as SUP! They share their musical performances on their dedicated YouTube channel, and this is one that will bring a smile to your face.

‘Aruba, Jamaica, ooh I wanna take ya
Bermuda, Bahama, come on pretty mama
Key Largo, Montego, baby why don't we go?
Jamaica, off the Florida Keys’

What a great cover of this iconic song! While the Solera Ukulele Players perform locally, they share many of their performances on their YouTube page, which spreads joy to people all over.

As for the iconic Beach Boys’ song ‘Kokomo,’ this hit was written about a fictional, idyllic Caribbean paradise. It was commissioned for the 1988 film Cocktail, starring Tom Cruise, which required a tropical escape anthem. ‘Kokomo’ became a massive hit, reaching #1 on the Billboard charts in late 1988 and becoming The Beach Boys' last chart-topping single.

While there is no actual island called Kokomo in the Caribbean or near Florida, the name actually refers to a real city in Indiana. Scott McKenzie, one of the co-writers of ‘Kokomo,’ shares about the writing behind the song and how the song’s title came about.

"John Phillips and I were writing in his SoHo apartment in New York when John got a call from our California friend Terry Melcher," says Scott McKenzie. "John and I began throwing around ideas, and in a few minutes he began to sing: 'Off the Florida Keys, there's a place called Kokomo. That's where you want to go to get away from it all.’ I said, 'That's a beautiful melody, John, but what's with Kokomo? Kokomo's a place in Indiana. It's about as Caribbean as Fairbanks or Switzerland.' ‘That's exactly why it's a great title,' John replied. Which is only part of why John Phillips was a great songwriter."

What a fun song with a creative beginning! We hope you enjoyed this ukulele rendition of ‘Kokomo’ today.

Beautiful Rendition of Adele’s ‘Someone Like You’ Wows

This young woman’s beautiful rendition of Adele’s “Someone Like You” wows and stuns. It is simply astounding. Watch the video to see her endless talent.

When artist Zoe Clark picks up that guitar, you don’t know what to expect. Her performance is nothing short of amazing. As she stands on a busy Dublin street, passersby slowly take in her voice.

She appears relaxed and lazily in tune with the music and takes Adele’s song and spins it into something that’s her own. It is more raw and stripped down. It sounds as if she fully grasps the pain in the lyrics:

"Don't forget me, " I beg
I remember you said
"Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead"
"Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead"

The guitar playing is clear and as pretty as her voice. Around her, the skies and street look gloomy and cold, but her voice brings pleasant warmth. When she plays, she’s in the zone.

She is completely unbothered by the busy bustle around her as she just slips into her music. She’s completely locked into the emotion of the moment. Zoe sings as though she’s singing the song to someone, delivering lyrics from her soul.

You almost have to wonder if she’s had an experience that relates to the song. It is certain that nothing about her art is flashy in any way, but it is completely beautiful and show-stopping nonetheless. She is the opposite of dramatic; she is sincere. And it is simply impossible not to notice her talent.

All in all, this is one of those striking performances that sticks in your heart long after you’ve heard it. It brims with genuine, heartfelt emotion. So, if you find that this song has stopped you in your tracks and struck a chord in you, then just let it.

‘Friday night and the lights are low
Looking out for a place to go
Where they play the right music
Getting in the swing, you come to look for a king’

Before the start of her audition, Debbii was asked what her main goal was with auditioning. “Win America’s Got Talent and finally come out of my shell and show the world what I love to do,” she replied. “Music is everything to me. It’s more than a hobby, it’s my legacy.”

She goes on to share how her grandfather taught himself in India to play the organ by drawing on concrete with charcoal, and that’s how he taught her dad. Then her dad went on to teach her music. It has been something that the family has loved for generations.

During her AGT audition, Debbi turned ABBA's ‘Dancing Queen’ into her own unique hit! The audience absolutely loved it and couldn’t stop cheering for her. She even got a standing ovation from them after she finished her performance.

Simon Cowell concluded the commentary from the judges by complimenting Debbii’s choice to take a risk with the song and make it her own. “I really like the fact that you’ve taken one of the most well-known pop songs of all time and literally made it your version,” he said. “I’m going to remember this audition, and I’m really, really happy that you’ve auditioned on this show.”

After a beautiful audition, it’s clear to see why Debbii was rewarded with four yeses from the judges!

Stunning New Rendition of ‘Beyond the Sea’ Will Sweep You Away

‘Somewhere beyond the sea
Somewhere waiting for me
My lover stands on golden sands
And watches the ships that go sailing’

Young Original shared about their love for ‘Beyond the Sea’ in the caption of their music video.

“We love Bobby Darin almost as much as we love Captain Crunch cereal! So, it seemed fitting to record this cover of his biggest hit, and an audience favorite, ‘Beyond the Sea.’ Also, apparently this song was used in the soundtrack of the movie, ‘Finding Nemo.’”

Many people online also shared how much they loved this version of the song.

Stunning Piano Cover of The Beatles’ ‘Let It Be’

The Beatles never fail to bridge generations. And if you have never heard “Let It Be” in just instrumental form, it’s time. YouTube’s Piano Mario has a stunning piano cover of The Beatles’ “Let It Be” that will leave you impressed. Play the video to hear it.

Piano Mario does an excellent job of bringing the song to life through his piano keys. For those who want to play along with him, he provides images of sheet music and helpful frames of his keys lighting up when he presses them. As you listen, you will be reminded of the lyrics:

And when the broken-hearted people living in the world agree
There will be an answer, let it be
For though they may be parted, there is still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer, let it be

But each chord of the song is filled with emotion, warmth, and comfort—no lyrics needed. Once you listen to it, you won’t regret it. Hearing the song on piano keys alone allows you to appreciate the strong composition of the music.

Its melody is wonderful all by itself. It allows you to appreciate the rhythm and harmony. Mario’s interpretation highlights little details in the Beatles song that would usually be glossed over in a full band or typical vocal version.

Mario’s visual performance is surprisingly relaxing. You feel in tune with the music as you watch the keys glow with light. It’s like magic, seeing the music being created in real time. It takes you on a calm and reflective journey.

Even if you aren’t a pianist or even a musician, there is much to appreciate in this cover. It is soothing to the soul and an experience worth savoring and revisiting again and again.

Incredible Rendition of Hall Oates’ Classic ‘Kiss on My List’

The Hindley Street Country Club has created an incredible rendition of Hall & Oates’ classic “Kiss on My List.” They are the perfect cover band for this old hit, hands down. Play the video to see why!

The band’s lead vocalist, Jordan Lennon, has an incredible voice that matches Daryl Hall and John Oates’ extremely well. The band incorporates a lot of instruments into the song, and it sounds terrific. You’ll feel like you are right back in the 1980s when you listen to it. The band demonstrates tremendous flexibility as they learn new, varied covers.

Some of the lyrics from the 1980 song are:

When they want to know what the reason is
I only smile when I lie, then I tell them why
… your kiss is on my list
(Because your kiss) your kiss is on my list

The band’s arrangement shows their signature style, which oozes ultra talent in a laid-back style. They’ve got tons of chemistry, and they make the song look easy—but any musician would tell you it’s not. The incredible, crisp percussion, bright bassline, and quick keyboard accents all come together to create a marvelous musical arrangement.

Each of the 7 performers brings a lot of personality and passion to the cover. The cameraman keeps up with the energy of the song as he follows the frame over each member, whose skills shine. The band gives it their own identity without losing the sweet feel of the original song.

Their enthusiasm for “Your Kiss is On My List” is obvious, and it makes you feel enthusiastic and energetic, too, as you watch and listen. Whether you’re hearing this song for the first time or you’re a longtime Hall & Oates fan, you’ve got to love this awesome, nostalgic, and energetic cover by The Hindley Street Country Club.

Tom Petty Classic 'Free Fallin' Gets Fantastic Cover

Some moments on earth feel like they’re borrowed straight from heaven — unexpected, unpolished, but filled with the kind of beauty that makes strangers stop mid-stride. That’s exactly what happened on a busy London street when Atticus Blue and Andrew Duncan set up with nothing more than guitars and grit, and gave this Tom Petty classic ‘Free Fallin’ a fantastic cover.

People rushed by with coffees in hand, phones buzzing, lives swirling…but then something in the air shifted. One by one, pedestrians slowed. Some sat. Others leaned against a brick wall just to listen. And what these two young lads delivered was a version of a timeless American classic that felt free, unhurried, and full of soul — like the song suddenly remembered what it was always meant to be.

It’s a song so woven into American life that nearly everyone carries it in a playlist somewhere — a tune covered by dozens of artists through the years. But somehow, these two London street musicians tapped into something different. Something effortless.

As one listener put it: “How wonderful these lads are. I’ve got the shivers listening to them and I am 73. Give them some dosh for crying out loud!”

Another chimed in, “Brilliant voices and great harmonies.”
Someone else added with a grin, “Great cover, gentlemen. Live long and prosper.”

And the praise just kept rolling in:

“Absolutely brilliant. Love this song, and these guys did it proud.”
“Lots of talent in this world. Case in point. Spectacular voices.”
“Well done, Young Sirs, well done! Tom has a HUGE grin.”

What Atticus and Andrew created on that street corner wasn’t just music. It was a reminder that beauty can bloom in the middle of traffic noise, that strangers can be knit together for just a moment by the thread of a single song, and that God still drops little gifts into ordinary days to make us stop and breathe again.

Sometimes the most extraordinary performances don’t come from grand stages or glittering lights; just two voices rising into a city that didn’t know how much it needed them.

James 1:17 “Every good and perfect gift is from above.”

Beautiful Piano Version of ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’

This is a beautiful piano instrumental version of the hit song “Sweet Child O’ Mine.” This cover of the classic Guns N’ Roses tune deserves to be listened to repeatedly. Watch the short but jaw-dropping clip to hear this delightful instrumental rendition of “Sweet Child O’ Mine.”

Musical covers are here to stay. Thanks to shows like American Idol, The Voice and America’s Got Talent, as well as popular social media platforms like YouTube and TikTok, covers are arguably more popular than ever. Heck, there are entire bands that are dedicated to playing just covers. It seems that anyone and everyone who can even remotely sing or play an instrument can and will cover someone else’s song.

Lauren Daigle, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac and Simon & Garfunkel are all popular targets regarding covers. It’s likely that when searching for covers of any of those artists on YouTube, you’ll receive hundreds, maybe thousands of pages of results. It makes sense why someone would cover those bands and musicians. If you want to gain recognition for your musical talents, it’s best to play songs people know from musicians people love, and that is the case with a recent piano instrumental cover posted on YouTube.

Guns N’ Roses, a classic rock band whose heyday was in the 1980s, remains a globally recognized band, with tunes that are still beloved. Whenever people think of the Axl Rose-fronted group, “Welcome to the Jungle” or “Paradise City” likely come to mind. For others, they probably immediately start humming “Sweet Child O’ Mine” whenever Guns N’ Roses is mentioned.

The video is an excellent, dazzling display of musical talent, as the musician’s fingers dance along the keyboard, nailing each key at the precise time. It is literal music to the ears, and it won’t matter that this is an instrumental, where the words have been removed, because you’ll probably be adding the iconic lyrics yourself as you listen to and watch the clip.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Beautiful Violin Rendition of Dolly Parton’s ‘Jolene’

Check out this beautiful violin rendition of Dolly Parton’s ‘Jolene.’ The musician in the video is Karolina Protsenko, and she pours her heart and soul into her performances! And her version of this song is no different!

‘Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene
I'm beggin' of you, please don't take my man
Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene
Please don't take him just because you can’

People on the streets can’t help but stop and watch this fun and graceful performance. And many people online, who are fans of Karolina Protsenko and her violin playing, have shared their praise for the musician.

“This is absolutely stunning. You played it so beautifully, Karolina️. All my appreciation!” comments one person online.

“Your performances are always impressive and flawless. Very beautiful violin cover!” writes another person.

Karolina Protsenko is an incredible violin player, and her videos of her street performances are watched and enjoyed by people all over the world. She is so graceful and captivating, and it is clear to see how much she enjoys playing the violin. Her joy really comes through in her musical performances.

When it comes to the background of the song ‘Jolene,’ the song is from Dolly Parton’s 1974 album of the same name. ‘Jolene’ remains one of her biggest hits, and it reached the number one position on the Billboard US Country Songs chart. The lyrics of the song tell the story of a woman who is fearful of another woman taking her husband from her.

What’s most surprising about the song ‘Jolene’ is that Dolly Parton also wrote it on the same day that she penned another one of her legendary hits, ‘I Will Always Love You.’

We hope you enjoyed this violin rendition of ‘Jolene’ by Karolina Protsenko and that it brought a smile to your face!

Elvis Classic ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ Turned into Beautiful Instrumental

You can’t help but laugh and be in awe as you watch this Elvis classic, ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’, that turned into a beautiful instrumental but with a twist! I don’t know about you, but when I clicked on Alexandra’s video, I was expecting a classy piano cover of an Elvis song — maybe something swoony, something soulful, something to make you say, “Well thank ya, thank ya very much.”

What I didn’t expect was to be blessed by what can only be described as The King meets Owlville.

There she was — Alexandra, all grace and professional in her white top, jean skirt, and runners, playing like she had the ghost of Elvis himself tapping his foot backstage. Every note was crisp, passionate, and full of that “hallelujah-in-heels” energy that makes you believe this woman probably practices scales while sipping sweet tea and quoting Chopin.

And then … out of nowhere … an owl.

Not a metaphorical owl. Not a wise-old-soul-kind-of-owl. A literal human owl in a onesie, hitting the xylophone like it was her divine calling. And I’m pretty sure that owl was Alexandra, too, just cloned for maximum fabulousness. I could not help but burst out laughing because it was so comical.

It was like watching The King of Rock and Roll get a heavenly remix by The Queen of Whooo-sical Arts.

One viewer said it best: “A Queen on the piano, performing a song made popular by the King.”

Another chimed in, “Way better than the original when interpreted by the most beautiful pianist in the world.”

And honestly? They’re not wrong. Alexandra gave us a cover that was equal parts concert hall and comedy gold. If Elvis had seen this, he would’ve said, “You ain’t nothin’ but a hoot dog cryin’ all the time!”

Somewhere, angels are snapping their wings to the beat, and even the owls are saying, “Whooo needs sleep when you can watch this again?”

Psalm 100:1 “Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.”

Beautiful Acoustic Version of Tina Turner’s ‘Simply the Best’ Will Give You Chills

This beautiful acoustic version of Tina Turner’s “Simply the Best” will give you chills. It’s a jaw-dropping and mesmerizing rendition of the tune known and loved by many. Watch the short and stunning clip to listen to the lovely acoustic cover performance of Tina Turner’s classic “Simply the Best.”

Musical covers are a time-honored tradition and practice that has likely existed since music first became a thing. There are entire bands dedicated solely to playing the music of one specific band or artist. So, if you’re not a fan of musicians playing tunes originally written, recorded and performed by others, I’ve got some bad news for you.

While it’s abundantly clear that covers are here to stay, they still shouldn’t be carbon copies, mere duplicates of the original. Musicians should implement a fair amount of creativity when performing covers. In one way or another, they should make the song their own, leaving their signature sound on it. Otherwise, there is no reason for the cover to exist. In that case, people will listen to the original version, which they are already familiar with.

In a clip posted on YouTube, one young woman does just that, putting her own spin on Tina Turner’s classic from 1989, “Simply the Best.” It’s an unplugged, acoustic and somewhat slowed-down version of the song many know and love. You have likely never heard the song performed this way, and it’s fantastic.

The iconic and memorable lyrics are still the same, but with just a slightly different sound.

“You’re simply the best
Better than all the rest
Better than anyone
Anyone I’ve ever met”

While it’s very different from the original, you’ll find yourself singing and tapping your foot along as this talented young woman performs the tune made famous by the late Tina Turner.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

When it comes to music, the 1970s are closely associated with disco. Now, disco is often a very polarizing and divisive genre and style of music. People seem to either really love it or hate it with a burning passion. There is no middle ground regarding disco.

For the most part, the lines have been drawn when it comes to disco, and you are either on this side or that side. Make your choice wisely because there is no coming back from this all-important decision. Are you a fan or not? People are waiting, and they must know your answer immediately. All of that might be true, but there are always a few exceptions to every rule, even when it comes to disco.

For instance, how could you not at least slightly enjoy ABBA’s songs? All of their tunes are so incredibly catchy and upbeat, with most of them immediately putting you in a better mood. Of course, one of their most popular, beloved songs is “Mamma Mia.”  In a clip posted on YouTube, the song, which is known and loved by many, gets an outstanding instrumental cover.

Even though the memorable and iconic lyrics have been completely removed from this version, it doesn’t lessen the enjoyment you’ll receive while listening to it in the slightest. That’s because you’ll soon learn that the lyrics haven’t been removed at all. Instead, you’ll add the vocal track as you listen to and watch this dazzling instrumental cover of the song previously written and performed by the popular group from Sweden. You will be unable to keep yourself from singing.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
