Stunning Piano Cover of ELO’s ‘Mr. Blue Sky’

This is a stunning piano instrumental cover of Electric Light Orchestra’s “Mr. Blue Sky.” This fantastic cover of the 1977 hit is one that you’ll likely return to repeatedly. Watch the short and thoroughly enjoyable clip to listen to this dazzling rendition of ELO’s classic “Mr. Blue Sky.”

Nearly every person who has ever picked up a musical instrument has performed, or at least tried to, a cover. Even the most prominent, most beloved musicians of all time have done covers at one time. Covers are a widely accepted, time-honored practice and tradition. It’s almost become a way to honor and recognize the work of others.

However, for covers to work correctly and to be enjoyed by all, they must be covering songs that most people are familiar with and know well. Playing an Aerosmith, an Elton John or a Fleetwood Mac deep track that most people, unless you’re a massive fan of those bands, do not know simply will not work. Regarding covers, it’s always best to stick to the hits.

There are several choices when it comes to covering the work of Electric Light Orchestra. There is “Evil Woman,” “Livin’ Thing,” “Sweet Talkin’ Woman” and “Don’t Bring Me Down.” However, the one that likely immediately comes to most people’s minds when considering ELO is “Mr. Blue Sky.” I know that’s the song I most closely associate with them.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a young woman turned in an outstanding instrumental cover of “Mr. Blue Sky.” Sticking to the hits becomes all the more important when performing instrumental versions of them. Of course, that’s because the familiar lyrics have been removed.

This is a fantastic performance. You’ll almost assuredly be singing along as you watch the young woman’s hands dance along the keys as she mouths the lyrics everyone knows and loves.

Ephesians 5:19 “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;”

Fleetwood Mac’s 'Dreams' Gets Violin Makeover by Talented Teen

Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” gets a violin makeover by a talented teen. She played the classic and beloved tune beautifully, making it a rendition that you’ll return to repeatedly. Watch the short and delightful clip to listen to her jaw-dropping cover of “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac.

When it comes to music, it really doesn’t get much bigger than Fleetwood Mac. They are a legendary rock band, responsible for some of the most iconic tunes of all time. Due mainly to Steve Nicks’ distinct and unique voice, their unmistakable sound is recognizable from a mile away. Surprisingly, they remain fairly active even after decades together, playing shows throughout the country and world.

Fleetwood Mac has an endless catalogue of songs, with one hit after another. “Go Your Own Way,” “Rhiannon,” “Gypsy” and “Landslide” are just a few of their tunes, which are instantly recognizable and loved by millions all over the world. Not only do people love listening to them play their hits, but many also enjoy covers of their songs, including one by a gifted young woman.

In the clip posted on YouTube, Karolina Protsenko performs Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams.” But instead of singing the words originally written and performed by Stevie Nicks, Karolina discards the familiar lyrics entirely. Instead, she delivers an awe-inspiring violin instrumental. It’s a lovely version of this tune from 1977.

While everyone is used to the lyrics being sung out by one of the most legendary singers in music history, there is still plenty to love about Karolina’s version of “Dreams.” Her performance is spot-on, nailing every note. Even the most ardent and rabid Fleetwood Mac fans will appreciate this instrumental version.

Also, no one will miss the lyrics not being sung because more than likely, they’ll add their own vocal track and sing along as Karolina expertly plays her violin.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

‘Ring of Fire’ Gets a Beautiful Makeover by Talented Young Musician

Listen to this beautiful makeover of the song ‘Ring of Fire’ by Johnny Cash. The singer in the video is Julianne Petersen, a member of the talented family band known as The Petersens. During her cover of ‘Ring of Fire’, Julianne is playing the mandolin, and her beautiful voice and range really shines with this music.

‘Love is a burning thing and it makes a fiery ring
Bound by wild desire, I fell into a ring of fire’

“I’ve been wanting to cover this Johnny Cash song ever since it got stuck in my head a few months ago, and I’m so excited to finally share it with you!” Julianne shares in the caption of her video.

This is such a stunning presentation of this classic Johnny Cash song. Many people online shared their praise for Julianne’s musical performance.

“Wow, Julianne, your music doesn’t just sound beautiful, it feels beautiful! And with this performance you just proved that simplicity can be the loudest beauty of all! You’ve got that rare magic where less truly becomes more. From the first note to the last breath, that heavenly beauty in your voice when you sing, well, that’s pure emotion!” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video.

“That is the most beautiful version of this song I've ever heard! You have an extraordinary and unique voice and amazing range. Thank you so much! Brilliant!” writes another person online.

When it comes to the history of ‘Ring of Fire’ by Johnny Cash, the song was written by June Carter and Merle Kilgore. It was initially recorded as ‘(Love's) Ring of Fire’ by June's sister, Anita Carter. The song became popular after Johnny Cash recorded it, and it appeared on his 1963 compilation album titled Ring of Fire: The Best of Johnny Cash.

We hope you enjoyed listening to Julianne Petersen’s rendition of ‘Ring of Fire’ today!

Frank Sinatra’s ‘My Way’ Transformed Into a Beautiful Piano Instrumental

Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” has been transformed into a beautiful piano instrumental. This rendition of the beloved classic is one that you’ll return to repeatedly. Watch the short and most enjoyable clip to listen to this fantastic rendition of Frank Sinatra’s “My Way.”

Covers are not going anywhere. Musicians have been playing the songs previously written and recorded by others, likely since music came into existence. With the proliferation of social media platforms such as TikTok, Facebook and Instagram, they will only continue to grow. On YouTube, there are hundreds, possibly even thousands, of pages full of nothing but videos where people perform other highly recognizable, beloved songs.

While covers are here to stay. That doesn’t just mean covers have to be nothing but duplicates and carbon copies of the original version. In fact, it’s actually better if some originality and artistry are included in a cover. That will only make them better. It helps them stand out while remaining true to the original song.

In a clip posted on YouTube, one person performs Frank Sinatra’s “My Way.” This is a song that you are likely more than familiar with, as it’s been around for quite some time. However, instead of simply singing the song, trying to imitate Frank’s unmistakable voice and musical style, this musician removes all those words.

This version is a stupendous instrumental, with the musician playing the tune we all know and love. Additionally, graphics are added at the top of the screen, as if the excellent piano performance wasn’t enough to keep you watching. They continually fall toward the screen, resembling a game of Tetris.

Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” is a tune that doesn’t need the words added because, like most people, you’re likely adding your vocals whenever you listen to it.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Band Stuns With Soulful Rendition of ‘Come and Get Your Love’

Listen to this talented band perform a soulful rendition of ‘Come and Get Your Love’ by the band Redbone. The band in the video is called September In The Park. They do an outstanding job with this cover, and their music will make you want to dance and sing along!

‘Hail (hail) What′s the matter with your head? Yeah
Hail (hail) What's the matter with your mind, and your sign and? Oh
Hail (hail) Nothing the matter with your head, baby, find it, come on and find it
Hail with it, baby, ′cause you're fine and you're mine and you look so divine’

This is one talented band! Some of the people in the group include Glenn Carvin on the keyboard, Ian Michael Bruh on lead vocals, Keyla Acker on background vocals, Joel Powell on bass, Steve Rieck on guitar, and Melly Baldwin on drums. They all did such an incredible job on this cover of ‘Come and Get Your Love’! Many people online shared their praise for this performance from September In The Park.

“I just discovered this band on YouTube and am slowly working my way through their catalog. What a pleasure!” one person comments after watching the music video.

“The entire band once again delivers in style with this lively take on Redbone’s ‘Come and Get Your Love.’ Joel Powell’s five-string bass radiates pure energy, his enthusiasm practically leaping from the strings. And then there’s Keyla Acker — her dance moves are irresistible, making it almost impossible not to leap from your chair and move along with her. Altogether, it’s a performance bursting with joy, groove, and infectious spirit,” another person writes online.

The group September In The Park is known as the ultimate Earth, Wind & Fire and Chicago Tribute band. And they have started to share covers online of some of the greatest songs ever recorded. We hope that you enjoyed their music today!

10-Year-Old Guitarist Rocks AGT Stage with ‘Born to Be Wild’

Check out this 10-year-old guitar prodigy named Bay Melnick Virgolino rocking the stage at America’s Got Talent with his rendition of ‘Born To Be Wild’ by Steppenwolf! This epic performance proves that this kid was born to be a rock star! His enthusiasm and talent definitely impressed the judges as well as the audience.

‘Get your motor runnin'
Head out on the highway
Looking for adventure
In whatever comes our way’

Bay’s vocals and guitar playing are outstanding, and it is incredible to see such a young musician have such a great stage presence. You can tell he really enjoys being up on stage performing for people. He even shared that since his first show when he was 7 years old, he knew that he wanted to play and perform rock and roll for the rest of his life.

In addition to the standing ovation from the audience, Bay received high praise from people online who watched his AGT performance.

“So awesome! When he slid across the stage on to his knees and was smiling at the crowd, I swear, I saw a flash of Eddie Van Halen there. Best wishes young man,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video.

“I keep watching this video and it never disappoints. If he can perform like this at 10, then imagine how he performs in the future. Keep it up, Bay!” writes another person online.

The judges were also very impressed with Bay and shared their thoughts after his performance.

“What are you?” says Sofía Vergara with a stunned look on her face. “It’s like you were born for this. Like I think you were born already being a mini rock star. And I feel like you can’t get enough of this when you’re up there. You don’t want it to stop, right?”

“You were amazing,” Howie Mandel says. “This was like a festival. It was like a kids festival. You’re amazing. You could tell he enjoys it. That’s what’s amazing about it. You were born to do this. Keep doing it and you will be happy. I love that you found your dream.”

Good luck to Bay on all his future rock star endeavors!

‘September’ Gets Stunning Piano Instrumental Cover

The song "September" has received a stunning piano instrumental cover. This rendition of the beloved tune from the legendary group Earth, Wind & Fire is one you will want to listen to repeatedly. Watch the short but thoroughly enjoyable clip to hear this delightful cover rendition of "September."

Some songs are so good that you will inevitably find yourself singing and dancing along to them regardless of where or when you hear them; doing otherwise would be just wrong. They are so incredibly catchy and upbeat that it's nearly physically impossible to ignore these tunes. You know exactly what type of songs I'm talking about. They span generations, and everyone somehow knows all the lyrics, regardless of the listener's age.

Perhaps it's because disco was such a popular genre, but it seems that many of these songs come from the 1970s. There's Wild Cherry's "Play that Funky Music," "Get Down Tonight" by KC and the Sunshine Band and anything by ABBA and The Bee Gees. Even those who aren't disco fans will have to agree that those are some absolute classics.

However, the most memorable, beloved song from that era is Earth, Wind & Fire's "September." If that song does not immediately put you in a better mood, I'm not sure any song will. It's impossible to listen to and not sing along. In a clip posted on YouTube, a pianist performs "September," complete with spellbinding, captivating graphics that fall toward the keys.

This version is an absolute delight. It matters not that none of those iconic lyrics are uttered throughout the clip. That's because, as you listen to this instrumental cover, you will likely add those lyrics yourself, especially that fantastic, earworm of a chorus.

It doesn't matter the month, Earth, Wind & Fire's "September" is always a joy to hear!

Colossians 3:16 "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual song, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."

Family Band Delivers Funky Throwback With Wild Cherry Classic

A family band delivered a funky throwback with their rendition of a Wild Cherry classic. The family of talented musicians will have you singing and dancing along with their delightful cover of "Play that Funky Music."  Watch the short but thoroughly enjoyable clip to listen to and see the Clark family perform "Play the Funky Music" by Wild Cherry.

While some may not appreciate or even enjoy musicians playing the songs of others, I've got some bad news for those individuals. Covers are here to stay, and there is likely nothing that can be done about it. That's a practice that is likely as old as music itself, so to think that anything would be changing in the immediate future on that front would be incredibly incorrect.

It's understandable why some people may not like covers. They are not all created equally. Some musicians should not touch some tunes, especially if all they are going to do is ruin them. No one wants that. But when covers are done right, they are super enjoyable, and on very rare occasions, even better than the original.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the Clark family covers Wild Cherry's "Play that Funky Music." I'm not saying their version is better than the original from the 1970s, but theirs is still pretty darn good. You will want to watch and listen to this family demonstrate their jaw-dropping musical talent. The young man's guitar solo about halfway through the clip is awe-inspiring.

Like every other song they cover, this performance is an absolute joy, and they will have you singing right along. How could you not sing along to those memorable, iconic lyrics?

"Yeah, they were dancing and moving
And moving to the grooving
And just when it hit me
Somebody turned around and shouted…play that funky music, white boy"

Colossians 3:16 "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."

Classic ‘Beyond the Sea’ Gets Dazzling Piano Instrumental Makeover

A new YouTube video by Montechait gives the classic song “Beyond the Sea” a dazzling piano instrumental makeover. If you love listening to the piano, then you will definitely enjoy this cover. Play the video to hear the beautiful music.

As the YouTuber plays each key to the classic beat, he displays tutorial-like imagery, and each key lights up when he presses it. As fish and sea turtles swim in the ocean-filled background (a very fitting theme, don’t you think?), dashes of light precede each key before he presses it so that viewers can follow along.

If you want to sing along to his keys, some of “Beyond the Sea (La Mer’s)” lyrics are:

Somewhere beyond the sea
Somewhere waiting for me
My lover stands on golden sands
And watches the ships that go sailing

“Beyond the Sea” is the English version of the French song “La Mer,” which was written by Charles Trenet in 1945. The original song was more about the sea, but Jack Lawrence, who wrote the English lyrics, turned it into more of a love song.

It was featured in the Cary Grant movie, “Every Girl Should Be Married,” in 1955. It was also used in the closing credits of Pixar’s 2003 “Finding Nemo” movie and its sequel, “Finding Dory.” Bobby Darin made the song popular in 1959 when his version went to No. 6 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.

Bobby died in 1973 at the age of 37. His friend, producer Nick Venet, said Bobby “would whistle ‘Beyond The Sea’ on the beach and I'd walk, oh, a quarter of a mile behind him because he'd want me to see how the sound sounded when the wind brought it back. He was still planning on recording a new version of ‘Beyond The Sea’ at Pfeiffer Beach” before he died.

Montechait gives life to the timeless classic. He shows the song is just as lovely on the piano as it is sung. It’s a beautiful, peaceful song that carries notions of love and wonder in every note.

Otis Redding’s ‘Sittin’ On The Dock of the Bay’ Gets Piano Instrumental Cover

Otis Redding’s “Sittin’ On The Dock of the Bay” gets a piano instrumental cover in a new video by Montechair. If you’re a piano fan, this is the video to watch. Play the video to hear the wonderful cover.

As the YouTuber plays each key to the lovely and lively song, he displays tutorial-like imagery, and each key lights up when he presses it. Dashes of light precede each key before he presses it so that viewers can follow along.

If you want to sing along to the keys, some of the lyrics are:

So I'm just gonna sit on the dock of the bay
Watching the tide roll away
I'm sittin' on the dock of the bay
Wastin' time

Otis wrote the song in June of 1967 from pure experience when he rented a houseboat in Sausalito. It was a peaceful and relaxing time with his manager, “Speedo” Sims. He just rocked on the boat and played his guitar.

“We must have been out there three or four days before I could get any concept as to where he was going with the song,” said Speedo. “I just didn’t understand it. And lyrically, it sounded weird. He was changing with the times. And I was looking at the times change.”

After five months, Otis brought the song to Sax studios. He finished the song, adding a bridge with guitarist Steve Cropper. They had it done in just 30 minutes.

“When I wrote with Otis, I always tried to make the lyric about him and his life,” Cropper said. “Songs like ‘Mr. Pitiful,’ ‘Sad Song’—those are all about him. ‘Dock of the Bay’ was, too. Otis trusted me. I always seemed to do the things he liked.”

And now, decades later, Montechair brings Otis’ peaceful and soulful spirit to life—one key at a time.

Beautiful Piano Instrumental of ‘Take Me Home, Country Roads’

Prepare to watch a mastermind pianist. This video shows a skilled musician bringing new life, flair, and pep to a country classic. Check out this beautiful piano instrumental of ‘Take Me Home, Country Roads.’

At the start of the video, we see the sheet music above the pianist’s hands. As he plays the keys, they light up as a tutorial for anyone desiring to learn how to play. The tone painting of this music is wonderful. As you listen to the instrumental version, picture some of your favorite memories driving on country roads to visit loved ones. Take time to reflect on the beautiful and slow moments in life that are so often taken for granted.

As the bridge approaches, something spectacular takes place. The man plays the notes on the piano and the top half of the video (which was previously sheet music) becomes a dark black background full of notes of orange, pink, and purple. As the moving colors hit his hands, he plays the keys in the correct places. It reminds us of those old fun games like Guitar Hero, where you want to match the color with the correct note on the keys. This pianist hits every note flawlessly.

The chorus sings out:

Country Roads, take me home, to the place, I belong,
West Virginia, mountain mama, take me home, country roads.

Perhaps you are missing your hometown today? Or maybe you are missing a loved one from where you are from? Wherever life takes us, may this song remind us of the blessings in our relationships and in the places where we grew up. May we not long for the past but learn from it and enjoy the gift that God gives us in the journey. Ultimately, may this song remind us that heaven is our home.

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?” John 14:1-3

‘Hit the Road Jack’ Shines in Brilliant Piano Instrumental Cover

"Hit the Road Jack" shines in a brilliant piano instrumental cover. This is a beautiful rendition of the beloved Ray Charles classic. Watch the short but stunning and jaw-dropping clip to hear the instrumental cover of "Hit the Road Jack."

Over the years, many songs have received the cover treatment. As time continues to move along, that number will only increase, as covers are a time-honored tradition that is not going anywhere anytime soon. Unfortunately, for anyone who does not enjoy covers, they are here to stay.

As shows like American Idol, The Voice and America's Got Talent have shown, any and every song can be covered over and over again. However, not every song can get an instrumental cover. For a cover to work, people have to be familiar with the original version, and that is even more so when the lyrics are entirely removed from the cover, which is why only true classics will ever get an instrumental cover.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a pianist performs the Ray Charles tune "Hit the Road Jack.” It's a wholly mesmerizing and captivating rendition. You're simply unable to take your eyes off the screen as the hands dance back and forth along the keys. Yes, the musician's sound is spot-on and thoroughly enjoyable. Still, your eyes are immediately drawn to the graphics falling toward the keys, which very much resemble a game of Tetris. You are closely watching the graphics, wondering if the hands will land on the right keys before the graphics disappear off the screen.

Also, the fact that none of the tune's memorable and iconic lyrics are sung in this cover is not a problem. Since the song is so beloved and near and dear to the hearts of many, as the musician plays the music, you hear all the lyrics in your head and are able to follow along easily.

Colossians 3:16 "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."

ABBA’s ‘Mamma Mia’ Sparkles in Dazzling Piano Instrumental Cover

ABBA’s “Mamma Mia” sparkles in this dazzling piano instrumental cover. This is one cover of the classic, beloved tune that you’ll want to listen to repeatedly. Watch the short but thoroughly enjoyable clip to listen to the lovely instrumental cover of “Mamma Mia.”

Covers, a time-honored tradition, are here to stay. Every musician and band performs them at one time or another. One could argue that covers have gotten a resurgence in popularity because of how many are posted on YouTube every day, and that nearly every person who sings on shows like American Idol, The Voice and America’s Got Talent performs a cover.

Some people may not enjoy covers because they rarely live up to the original. I agree that covers seem lazy and are nothing more than carbon copies of the original, which, 95 percent of the time, is infinitely better. So, if you’re going to do a cover, make it good, or at least different from the original version in some discernible way. That is precisely what one person did when they covered a beloved song from the 1970s.

In the YouTube video, the musician plays an instrumental version of “Mamma Mia” on the piano, which is absolutely fantastic. Of course, none of those memorable, catchy lyrics are sung because it is an instrumental, but that does not take away from this performance. As you listen to and watch the video, you’ll have the words going through your head as the hands dance along the keys, creating the iconic tune.

While the sound is excellent and the real draw of this video, there is also an interesting visual aspect present. While listening, you’ll see the falling graphics as they descend toward the keys, closely watching to see if the musician hits the proper key in time.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Pharrell’s ‘Happy’ Gets Family Band Cover

Pharrell’s ‘Happy’ gets a family band cover, and it sounds almost better than the original song. The Martin Family Circus, also known as Rockland Road, are talented professionals who really know how to keep a beat. Watch the video to hear the fun performance.

A young girl, one of the youngest Martins in the six-member band, takes the mic as she leads her family in song in a room full of people. As she sings, her family harmonizes at different intervals. Her brother and dad play acoustic guitars, and her mom offers some well-timed claps to the lively beat.

It’s such a fun song to see a family sing together; the whole family does an astounding job. They are very practiced and know how to use each of their skills to sound great together. They couldn’t have picked a more lively or better-suited song for them. Some of the lyrics of Pharrell Williams’ “Happy” are:

Sunshine she's here, you can take a break
I'm a hot air balloon that could go to space
With the air, like I don't care baby by the way
Because I'm happy (happy)

If you’ve ever seen this song covered, you’ll know that it takes a lot of skill. This may easily be the best cover of this song that you’ll ever see. Everyone, including the young children in the group, knows their parts down to a T. Each of their talents comes together to make a truly impressive piece of music, and they seem to enjoy performing together. When they finished their song, many people whooped and hollered, with lots of clapping.

The song they chose is an excellent reminder that happiness is a choice. Sometimes it doesn’t matter if other people or things try to burst your bubble—you can choose to stay afloat and not let anything get you down. If you’ve got that happy feeling, stick with it.

Beatles’ ‘Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da’ Gets Smooth Saxophone Makeover

The Beatles’ ‘Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da’ gets a smooth saxophone makeover by a talented street performer. You’ll instantly be able to recognize this unique song played by the young Avelina Kushnir. Watch the video to hear the joyous tune.

As the 17-year-old plays, many gather around to watch and video her performance—and it’s easy to see why. It’s rare to see a live sax player and even rarer to hear any Beatles song covered on the sax, especially their song, “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da.” The carefree nonsense song is known for its peppy beat with drums, bongos, maracas, piano, and guitar. Even if you’re an avid Beatles fan, you’ve probably never heard this song on the sax.

Avelina gives the song a whole new life with her saxophone. The tune sounds deeper, simpler, lovelier, and more melodic when she performs it. It captures the song’s playful spirit while adding a jazzy and soulful change that brings a new kind of joy. She’s turned a bustling street into a magic moment. The song feels like a wonderful celebration of youth, love, and joy.

It’s clear that Avelina clearly enjoys her work as she plays, sways, and dances with her sax. At just 17, she is very confident. She commands her instrument with expertise and ease, making it look terribly easy, even though it must have been very hard to master. When she stops playing, many around her clap with smiles and joy on their faces.

This young woman’s performance is something that you will carry with you throughout the day. After you see it, you won’t be able to get this happy song out of your head.

Hearing this is a sweet reminder to slow down and enjoy a happy beat. Music has the power to transform any moment into something very special and unforgettable.

Talented Kids Stun with Cover of Billy Joel’s ‘My Life’

Check out these young musicians stun with their cover of Billy Joel’s ‘My Life.’ Their version of this song is terrific, and they sound so amazing playing together. What a talented bunch of kids!

‘Got a call from an old friend we'd used to be real close
Said he couldn't go on the American way
Closed the shop, sold the house, bought a ticket to the west coast
Now he gives them a stand-up routine in L.A.’

The young musicians in this video are part of the group called The Graystones. All of their members are 11 or 12 years old. They sound incredible together, and it is clear to see their passion for music.

“Billy Joel remains one of the world's greatest song writers and we have admired him since we were young kids. We have already done 2 other Billy Joel songs and this is the 3rd that we learned recently,” shares The Graystones in the caption of their YouTube video.

The group then went on to share some information about the sound and process of their music video. “We started the cameras rolling last Monday late afternoon and recorded several passes. We all agreed that the 3rd pass we did was the best, and this is the version you're seeing and hearing here. To this, we added background vocals, a keyboard part, and hand claps. You can see all those inserted. We do these songs to honor the artists that brought these to the world. We try our very best to get as close as we can to the original masterpieces. This is why we added those additional sounds mentioned. We hope you enjoy!”

It is wonderful to witness the talent and dedication of these kids, and it is clear why The Graystones have garnered a large fan base online.

On their YouTube page, The Graystones have shared that they love 70s and 80s music, but also enjoy covering current songs as well. “We go to school, do sports, climb trees, and run around. But music is what we're most passionate about and we work really hard and spend a lot of time every week learning songs and getting better as musicians,” the band shares.

We hope you enjoyed watching this fun cover of ‘My Life’ today!

Band Delivers Stunning Covers of Frankie Valli Hits

Cover band September In The Park delivers stunning covers of Frankie Valli hits ‘Oh, What a Night’ and ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.’ With backup singers and dancers, a trombone, sax, grand piano, and more, the atmosphere is right for a perfect night of music. Watch the clip to enjoy the sweet sounds.

In the video posted on YouTube, the 14-member band stands in a warmly lit room, kicking off the night with the high-energy Frankie Valli song, ‘Oh, What a Night.’ The band dances and sways as they perform with smiles on their faces. After that quick beat, the tempo slows to fade into the next song, ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.’

Two lead singers, a man and a woman, step up to sing the romantic song, which is one of Valli’s greatest hits. It’s a remarkable song, not only because it has endearing lyrics, but because it starts out almost like a slow dance song before launching into a bright vibrato. Some of the lyrics are:

… You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off of you
You'd be like Heaven to touch

1,000 Musicians Unite for Epic Performance of ‘Sweet Caroline’

One thousand musicians united for an epic performance of "Sweet Caroline." Neil Diamond's beloved classic got quite the cover with this outstanding and stunning rendition. Watch the short but awe-inspiring clip to see and hear the musicians perform a tune near and dear to the hearts of many, Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline."

We live in a very polarized and argumentative society, primarily due to social media and 24-hour news channels, which do nothing but keep people angry. It can often feel like reaching an agreement on even the smallest, most meaningless and insignificant topic or subject is impossible. When someone gives their opinion, someone else will inevitably respond with much anger and vitriol as they loudly and aggressively point out how they are completely and utterly wrong.

While there is much hate and anger in modern society, music has the ability to bring people together and make them forget about their petty differences, even if it is for only a short time. Some songs instantly put you in a good mood, no matter what you were experiencing or going through only minutes before. A clip posted on social media captures a massive group of musicians performing one of those feel-good tunes, "Sweet Caroline."

In the video, 1,000 musicians have gathered to play "Sweet Caroline" in a stadium in Frankfurt, Germany. There are guitarists, saxophonists, trumpeters, drummers and vocalists to belt out the iconic and memorable lyrics. Oh, and there are also, for whatever reason, a couple of gentlemen doing kicks, flips and other gymnastics-type moves during the performance.

It's an extraordinary and downright joyous rendition of a song everyone knows and loves. Seconds into their performance, you'll likely find yourself singing along, if not the verses, the simple but catchy and memorable chorus.

"Sweet Caroline
Good times never seemed so good
I've been inclined
To believe they never would"

How can you not sing those lines every time the song is played?

Colossians 3:16 "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Youthful Talent Shines in Mesmerizing Cover of Fleetwood Mac Classic

Check out these young musicians shine in their performance of ‘Dreams’ by Fleetwood Mac. Their cover of this popular song is spectacular. What a talented bunch!

‘Now here you go again, you say you want your freedom
Well, who am I to keep you down?
It's only right that you should play the way you feel it
But listen carefully to the sound of your loneliness’

The young musicians in this video are part of the group The Graystones. All of their members are 11 or 12 years old. They sound incredible together, and it is clear to see their passion for music.

“We've done this song a few times in the past year and a half. We're getting better!” says The Graystones in the caption of their YouTube video. “So thank you for coming along this journey with us. We hope you enjoy it!”

Many people online were thrilled to see these young kids playing and were blown away by their talent.

“They play like they have been on tour for years,” writes one person on YouTube. “Bass dude is chill as they come, and the singer girls are very comfortable in their abilities. Keyboard is on his funk, drummer boy is on time…rock on School of Rock!”

“I'm a guitarist, have been in many bands and musical projects over the past few decades and all I can say is: wow! I want to see these ‘kids’ perform live in concert sometime soon. Totally brilliant,” another person comments online.

The Graystones have shared on their YouTube page that they love 70s and 80s music, but they also enjoy covering current songs. “We go to school, do sports, climb trees, and run around. But music is what we're most passionate about and we work really hard and spend a lot of time every week learning songs and getting better as musicians,” the band shares.

We hope you enjoyed this excellent cover of ‘Dreams’ from The Graystones.
